High-quality audio equipment, including speakers, microphones, and a karaoke machine, can significantly enhance learning experiences for Pre-K and kindergarten students. Clear sound ensures that every child can hear instructions, stories, songs, and classroom discussions, supporting language development, listening skills, and comprehension. Together, these tools create an inclusive, engaging learning environment where every child's voice can be heard, participation is encouraged, and learning becomes both meaningful and fun. This equipment will also be utilized during community events at holidays, concerts and other special events.

Our current equipment is not consistently functional for our events and for regular student use. I am in need of audio equipment to regularly have students perform in class in front of peers. This will strengthen their confidence and self-esteem as performers and speakers. My goal is to have weekly time for students to step on stage and present something. Even if it is just to speak on what they plan to do over the weekend, or sing a favorite song from the week. Every student on our campus including special needs students will have access and enjoy the benefits of the grant.

Microphones encourage young learners to build confidence by speaking, singing, and presenting in front of their peers, while also fostering communication and social-emotional growth. A karaoke machine provides engaging opportunities for music, movement, phonemic awareness, and early literacy through interactive songs and activities that reinforce classroom concepts. I have provided a space in my room for students to take turns being on stage and being exposed to leading and sharing with a group.
This project will serve our district mission by enhancing our community outreach events and presentations.
