Always Earned Never Given - Damien Gradney & Special Education Department Image
I wanted to use this funding to reward students/athletes for their hard work each week. I wanted to reward them for working both in the classroom and on the court/field. I wanted to give them rewards for scoring high scores on their School work and Test scores. I would like to reward them with school supplies, educational games, snacks, and drinks.

The needs this project will address is getting students to participate every day no matter what. I think with having a reward system, it gives students motivation to work and learn. I think this will get kids to participate more and come to class eager to learn and do well.

I think this will impact student learning because providing students with opportunity to receive drinks/snacks motivates them to participate and learn. Activities would be student led tutorial sessions. Those students that attend and participate, I could provide snacks/drinks for. The activities will happen in their home math teacher classroom with roughly 20 students. I think with this type of reward system would help kids want to learn and get their work done. No one wants to just come to school without some type of incentive. This project will help because the more we can get kids to work and learn, the better off their test scores would be and the better off they will be in the real world.
