Our proposal aims to revolutionize the audiovisual and graphic design learning environment by incorporating Mac Mini computers into our classroom setup. 
The primary objective of this grant is to empower both educators and students with state-of-the-art tools that facilitate seamless audiovisual content creation, editing, and presentation. By introducing Mac Minis into our classroom, we seek to elevate the quality of audiovisual projects, enhance collaboration, and cultivate digital literacy skills essential for success in the 21st century.

Currently, students in CTE classes use iPads that have limited processors and applications that they can access. The unfortunate truth is that, while the iPads are amazing tools for educational purposes, they do not have the processing power or the application abilities that a full computer would have. The applications that we pay for as a district offer the full range of Adobe Creative Suite, but the apps on the iPads lack the functionality needed to master the tools. On top of this, iPads are not industry standard tools used in the Audiovisual or Graphic Design world for anything more than general uses. True and effective editing of audio, video, and graphic design works need to be completed on a device with more processing power than the iPads offer. The integration of Mac Minis into our audiovisual classroom will have a transformative impact on student engagement, creativity, and skill development. By providing students with access to cutting-edge tools and resources, we empower them to unleash their full potential and prepare them for success in an increasingly digital world.
