Drew Elementary seeks funding to purchase essential sound equipment for the elementary music classroom. This equipment will enhance the quality of performances and daily classroom activities, providing students with a richer and more engaging music education experience.

The goal of this project is to provide students with high-quality sound equipment that will support their learning and performance in music. The current sound system is outdated and inadequate for the needs of our growing program. By upgrading our equipment, we aim to: 1. **Improve Classroom Instruction:** Clearer sound quality will help students better understand musical concepts, rhythms, and dynamics. 2. **Enhance Performances:** A reliable sound system will allow students to showcase their talents in school performances, boosting their confidence and fostering a sense of pride. 3.**Facilitate Inclusive Learning:** Quality sound equipment will ensure all students, including those with hearing impairments, can fully participate in music activities. **Equipment List:** - **Portable PA System:** For clear audio during performances and classroom activities.- **Microphones (Wireless and Wired):** For vocal amplification and instrument pickup.- **Speakers:** To ensure adequate sound coverage in the classroom and performance spaces.- **Audio Mixer:** For managing multiple audio inputs and ensuring balanced sound. - **Cables and Accessories:** Necessary connections and supports for the equipment.

Each year my campus looks for innovative ways to draw in community support and involvement from family and staff during our school programming. We current host up to 4 community events annually, where outside community and district staff attend programs that display the talents and abilities of our students. As we gain support in providing better technology and equipment to have these programs, student motivation and involvement will increase. Our desire is to provide a higher moral and confidence in presentation, by providing our students the adequate supplies necessary to elevate their performances. This grant will directly benefit approximately 625 students annually. The success of this project will be measured by: - **Student Engagement:** Increased participation in music activities. - **Performance Quality:** Improved sound quality in school performances. - **Teacher Feedback:** Enhanced instructional capabilities.
