Even in the midst of a great culture, the Crosby football program has needs to help keep the Cougars on the cutting edge of top facilities and teaching/ coaching practices. The Football program is in need of a drone that will enhance our program through new access to coaching information and technique that only this technology can provide. With a drone, we will be able to implement immediate teaching techniques using the technical support of video footage from multiple angles and dynamic vantage points not available with traditional tripods.
Crosby High School has a tremendous athletic department that is committed to providing opportunity to student athletes and providing access to top facilities and teaching/ coaching practices. One area has been the effective use of technology to enhance the pedological and practical coaching techniques. The Crosby football program is recognized and distinguished for molding athletes for success on the field but in the community and preparing them for life as well. Through tenacious work and heart filled labor, that is modeled by the community of Crosby, Texas, the football program reflects and exemplifies these values with confidence, humility, and solidarity. Our sole mission is to continue and build upon the communities expectation and produce citizens that will grow the culture.
Our football program at Crosby has approximately 150 athletes that are taught the principles of servant leadership that strive for achievement and yet demonstrate humbleness. The characteristics will serve them in high school and are lesson and values they will carry with them through life. These qualities permeate the football programs culture and are passed on to the young Cougars and to the future Cougars in our community.

The use of a drone is already a common practice at the collegiate level. The images captured by drones can be at any height, at any angle, and can move, if desired, with the action. The advantage a drone provides will not only help give our athletes an advantage athletically, but it will also provide a strategic way of learning through technology. The drone will benefit the coaches athletes, but it will also benefit the managers working the technology who will acquire a new skill and talent applicable in many work and life situations. The drone will be used every day at practice and utilized to achieve maximum results. The Crosby Cougar Football program would greatly appreciate the technical advantage that a drone provides, and it would benefit the program now and in the future endeavors of Crosby ISD. The Crosby community is a trend setter; this is another step in that direction.

Not only will the drone be used for football, the drone will be available for all outdoor activities in winter/spring when requested. This can also be used in culmination with the district's social media to promote Crosby ISD. Within this project, this will effect the engagement of students and student athletes. This project will support the district's mission of personalized learning outside of the classroom as well as inside the classroom after application.
